A Life-Changing Resource for Newcomers:
When I first came across the Canada Integration and Settlement Organization (CIASO), I couldn't help but feel a sense of regret. My regret stemmed from the fact that I had already made some significant life decisions—particularly in my career and academics—that might have been different had I known about this incredible resource earlier. However, all was not lost, as I am still relatively new to this country, and CIASO has continued to be a tremendous support for me and my family.
The organization offers a variety of services, including invaluable Zoom sessions and personalized one-on-one advice. I am especially grateful for Dr. Leonard, one of the founders, who has consistently been available to offer guidance. His willingness to help and his dedication to newcomers are truly remarkable.
